Book Blogger Hop

The Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Crazy for Books. The purpose is for book bloggers and book lovers to connect.

Q: Do you judge a book by it's cover?
A: I have to admit (shame on me) that I do judge some books by their cover. When I am shopping in a bookstore, I usually pick up the book with the cover that catches my eye. However, I definitely don't read books based on the cover; I read books based on the content. I have read some really good books with really ugly covers.

    I judge books by the cover too. It has to grab my attention somehow, and the covers are the first thing you see. I do buy a lot of books based on reviews, though, so I am not all shallow :)

    Wouldn't it be nice if the covers always matched the books? You know, awesome cover = awesome content, crappy cover = crappy cover. It would make things a whole lot easier :)

    Hi Cassandra, visiting from the HOP! I am exactly the same way about covers. Great review of Mockingjay. I really liked it, but it was rather sad.
